What is a CuddleBlanket?

In times of grief and loss, finding solace and comfort is paramount. We understand the emotional journey families face during such difficult moments, which is why we created the CuddleBlanket™. This innovative and compassionate offering aims to provide solace and a lasting connection for grieving families.

The CuddleBlanket™ is a cooling blanket for those who have died to accompany families during their time of loss, similar to the CuddleCot, but for older children and adults. It is carefully made to allow grieving families the gift of time with their loved ones, thoughtfully created to provide a tangible connection between families and their loved ones without the need to cool the whole room.

We are dedicated to providing support, compassion, and understanding to families experiencing loss. We support organizations and initiatives focused on infant loss, grief counseling, and bereavement services. The CuddleBlanket™ helps to make a positive impact on the lives of others who may be going through a similar journey.

The CuddleBlanket’s exceptional quality and dedication to supporting grieving families make it an essential item for anyone seeking solace during times of loss. In the face of unimaginable grief, the CuddleBlanket™ helps provide a lasting connection, ensuring that the memories of our precious loved ones are cherished forever.

How it works

The CuddleBlanket™ utilizes a thermoelectric cooling process rather than standard refrigeration.

The insulated cover consists of a small cooling unit that circulates fluid through a cooling pad that can simply be placed on top of the deceased, either in a bed or a cot.

Unlike refrigerated beds or coffin coolers, the CuddleBlanket™ is extremely light, portable, flexible, and does not ice up.

A CuddleBlanket™ cooling blanket can be used with babies who may be too large to utilize the CuddleCot, as well as children and adults.

The CuddleBlanket™ connects to a hose that is attached to a large blanket-style mat.

This is placed over the top of a baby, child, or adult, similar to a quilt, and their own blanket or quilt cover can be added on top to personalize their bed.

Benefits of the CuddleBlanket

  • Provides families an opportunity to spend time with their loved ones without having to cool the whole room.
  • Set up in seconds and use anywhere, at home or in a hospice bedroom.
  • Lightweight and Portable – only weighing 11kg/24lbs.
  • Lower running costs than traditional refrigeration as CuddleBlanket directly cools the deceased and is only switched on when required.
  • Low maintenance requirements as it utilizes a thermoelectric cooling process.

Servicing the CuddleBlanket

The CuddleBlanket is provided with a 12-month warranty. After that, we offer a range of enhanced service and support options.

For added peace of mind, we also offer an extended warranty. This can be taken at the point of sale or during the first year of ownership and will run seamlessly after the first 12-month warranty.

We’re committed to helping you get the most from these important resources and help ensure your CuddleBlanket is always ready for use when you need it.

As the innovators of the CuddleBlanket, we have many years and much experience in its upkeep and have all the expertise, tools, and experience to keep this asset in the best working condition.
