Supporting Families After Multiple Loss: The Skye High USA Foundation

Losing a child is devastating, and the experience is uniquely complex for families who have lost a twin, triplet, or multiples. The Skye High Foundation was founded to offer practical and emotional support to families navigating this journey.

Founded by bereaved parents, the foundation combines lived experience with clinical insight to create meaningful resources for families. Their support already reaches every neonatal unit in the UK and is now expanding to hospitals across the United States, with plans to grow globally.

At the heart of their work are the Butterfly Packs, which include memory items, posters, and cards designed to provide comfort and remembrance for families experiencing loss. To reach all 1,400+ NICUs in the US, the foundation is building a network of ambassadors. These ambassadors help raise funds, organise the packs, and deliver them to local hospitals, ensuring families receive compassionate support when they need it most.

Hospitals can now submit requests for Butterfly Packs via the foundation’s request form. While fundraising continues, the foundation will communicate timelines for delivery to ensure every hospital can access these life-affirming resources.
