How Miles’ Mission Is Shaping Ohio Legislation

We’re proud to recognise the incredible dedication of Miles’ Mission, along with Dr. Bullock and Jennifer Bullock, for their tireless efforts in raising awareness and driving change in honour of Miles. 💙

On Wednesday, April 2nd, the President and Vice President of Miles’ Mission once again presented powerful testimony in front of the Ohio Senate Health Committee in support of House Bill 4. Legislation that would designate September 19th as Stillbirth Prevention Day in Ohio.

The bill’s goal is clear: to educate Ohioans about the heartbreaking reality of stillbirth and ensure healthcare resources are more effectively allocated to support expecting mothers.

With a unanimous “Yes” vote from the Senate Committee, this marks a powerful step forward in turning awareness into action. We’re deeply grateful to State Representatives Adam Holmes and Cecil Thomas for their unwavering support and co-sponsorship of the bill.

This progress is a testament to the love, advocacy, and courage behind Miles’ Mission. 💙
