Family make Cuddlecot donation to The Orchard Service in Worcestershire

Families in Worcestershire experiencing the loss of a baby will be able to spend more time with them thanks to the generous donation of a CuddleCot.

The donation was made by the Ocego family in memory of their daughter Elsie-Rose who sadly passed away at birth.

The CuddleCot enables families experiencing the loss of their baby to spend more time with them and have more time to create memories.

Families can have as long as they wish with their baby in the CuddleCot which means they have the option to take their baby home or stay at home until the funeral.

The donation was received by the Worcestershire Orchard Service on Elsie-Rose’s birthday, through the charity 4Louis, and will be used with families in their care.

The Orchard Service provides nursing care and support to babies, children and young people, who have acute or long-term complex healthcare needs, including those with life-limiting conditions.

It provides emotional, psychological and social support as well as practical advice for the whole family in their own home or local community.

4Louis is a UK charity that works across the country to support anyone affected by miscarriage, stillbirth and the death of a baby or child.
