Request a Certificate of loss

Sometimes, due to location or other circumstances, not every family has access to the quality bereavement care they deserve after a loss.

While the UK government now offers a certificate of loss to parents before 24 weeks, this is currently only available to parents in England.

We offer a handwritten certificate of birth or certificate of loss to any family who would like one.

We understand that not every family will choose to request a certificate, but we believe it’s important that every family has the option, regardless of who they are or where they are.

In some cases, a family may not have received support like a memory box through organisations like 4Louis or the Comfort Kits from Butterfly Alliance (US) and Teddy's Wish (UK), or bears from Aching Arms.
