Bereavement Consultant, Steph Wild, features on the MOHA Network podcast

Mothers of Held Angels (MOHA), based in the USA, is on a mission to create a voice for grieving mothers who have held their baby after their passing, to provide immediate day-of-loss resources and ongoing bereavement support for all family members, and to raise public awareness about the pain and heartbreak surrounding stillbirth and neonatal loss.

Their vision is to create on-call bereavement team(s) and resources available to mothers during the immediate hours following baby’s passing, inside or outside of the hospital setting.

They also donate CuddleCot equipment and devices to local hospitals to aid in bereavement care and help with umbilical cord research to develop an Umbilical Cord Risk Assessment for baby during the mother’s pregnancy and a preventative diagnostic tool to flag high-risk umbilical cord issues early on.

MOHA raises public awareness of stillbirth and neonatal loss through their MOHA Mom’s Network, The MOHA Podcast Channel and partnerships with other community organisations.

Steph Wild, CuddleCot’s Bereavement Consultant, was the keynote speaker for the MOHA 2023 GALA and is a longtime advocate for families of loss. She is currently leading the way in educating hospitals and healthcare professionals about the importance of time with a CuddleCot. Tune in to hear her personal experience of losing her daughter Bea and how her experience helped further her mission in bereavement care.
