🌸 Honoring Brooklyn and Ethan: The Lazaro Family’s Gift of Time 🌸

We are deeply moved by the incredible generosity of Tabitha and Salvatore Lazaro, who have turned their grief into a mission to support other grieving families. After enduring the heartbreaking loss of their children, Brooklyn and Ethan, due to Trisomy 6, the Lazaro family has donated multiple CuddleCots to area hospitals, including ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca, in honor of their precious babies.

The CuddleCot offers families the precious gift of time, allowing them to spend meaningful moments with their babies before saying goodbye. For the Lazaros, this time was invaluable in honoring Brooklyn and Ethan and in helping them begin to heal.

Their selfless donations, marked with a small engraved sign sharing their story, will help other families create special memories that will last a lifetime.

We are incredibly grateful to the Lazaro family and to ThedaCare for their commitment to compassionate care and for giving other families the gift of time.

‘While You Were Apart’ Words from those who cared for your baby

There are some questions that bereaved parents carry quietly for years.

Bringing Thea home was so important to us.

We were recently contacted by Katie, mum to Seb and Thea-Dottie who wanted to share the importance of the CuddleCot to their family and how it enabled them to take precious Thea-Dottie home where she belonged. Not every family is given this opportunity, sometimes due to another family using a device and lack of availability, or simply a and heartbreakingly a lack of awareness.

No family should experience what we did

Ezra’s mum, Lianne shares their journey with grief, their bereavement care experiences, and why they are dedicated to advocating for better standards of compassionate bereavement care for families.
